I'm just a hundred pages in on my second run-through and decided to
write down some funny/favorite lines of my own. These were mine so
far (all from the American hardcover edition, Parenthesis always
mine):

P. 6 (Petunia speaking) "Listening to the news! Again?"
"Well it changes every day, you see," said Harry.

p.14 "Not this brave at night are you?" sneered Dudley.
"This IS night, Diddykins. that's what they call it when it
goes all dark like this." (Harry)

p.14-15 "What d'you mean, I"m not brave in bed?" said Harry,
completely nonplussed. "What - am I supposed to be frightened of
pillows or something?"

p.54 (Lupin speaking) "Harry, I've left a letter telling your aunt
and uncle not to worry -"
     "They won't," said Harry.
     "That you're safe - "
     "That'll just depress them."
" - and you'll see them next summer."
     "Do I have to?"

Harry's grown into quite the little smart-alec hasn't he?

Stac (short for Stacey btw)
