At this point, I'm pretty sure this is unnecessary but until I'm

 Forgive me if this has been addressed before. There is no possible 
way to wade through all the posts with a very demanding three month 
old on your knee. But I digress.
 Sirius's death has come as a very major blow to a lot of adult fans 
(particularly the women ;o) ) but I don't think we've seen the last 
of him for a couple of reasons:

1. We never had a body! Someone here, fogive me for not remembering 
who, mentioned something about it being a soap opera death. It is 
very possible that it will be possible to come back from beyond the 
veil as falling into it was a complete accident. Kind of a dead 
without dying situation.

2. Harry packed the shattered pieces of the two way mirror. He 
didn't throw it out as he may have been expected to and in JKR's 
world, things like that are significant.

3. I know that JKR has said that she cried after writing the death 
and that she was very sad to know that he was really gone but I 
don't believe it. I may be in denial but do you really think she'd 
come out and say, "Oh, yeah, in the fifth book it looks like someone 
dies but he's not really gone so don't worry." Probabaly not. JKR is 
the master of the red herring and I think this may be the biggest 
one of all.

Again, forgive any redundancies and please share your thoughts on 
the subject.
