Ah, I can relate to Harry in this regard.  A lot of teenage boys (and 
older ones as well) *do* let things go -- they don't want to confront 
things that they don't know how to handle, and they have a somewhat 
irrational belief that these types of things will fix themselves if 
left alone.

While the unfailingly pursuing Harry image is much more romantic, I 
can't say I ever knew very many men like that.  Harry's reaction to 
Cho (and vice versa) rang very true to me.
