Must comment on your sig--excellent observation!  If the Slytherins 
have no trouble getting the Quidditch practice field anytime they 
want it, surely they have no trouble procuring a classroom to meet 
in. (?) They could guise it under any name--"Slytherin Loyalty 
Leage" "Fans of Little Greased-Back Blonde Hair Pure Bloods" 
whatever...

Although, my impression (most likely wrong) is that the kids of the 
DE's are used to letting their parents/ancestors do all the heavy-
lifting.  Whereas, Neville had no parents; Herminone's folks are 
dentists; HP nuff' said; I don't quite remember about Justin FF or 
some of the other kids.  Ron, I would suspect, is *tired* of his poor 
dad being the only one at MoM who doesn't kowtow to Fudge. Seamus 
only shows up after throwing off his Mum's notion that HP is nutter.

The DA kids are *used* to having to handle things themselves *and* 
have the horrible Evil Toad Woman as the DADA teacher and just know 
that she's feeding them a line.  Vs. The DE kids, who know enough to 
goad the others but have yet to do anything *real*.
