>>So now that we have Dumbledore not wanting to do that anymore, can
we assume that the DA will be an incorporated part of the OoP? Will
they be a part of the meetings and defense/offense strategy? They are
16 now. All of them. (Well not Ginny...) Almost of age. But then
again, what can they do while in school? What good would come of
their complete knowledge of the activities? <<

Uh Melody, there's a yellow flag for you – the DA comprises
of students from the second year up – Dennis Creevy is no older
than 12 surely? For all we know, when the DA expanded once Harry's
version of events was accepted (Seamus came in then, remember?) even
first year students may have joined in.

What I enjoyed most about the DA was the presence of students from
almost every year, and from almost every house. Harry was instructing
12 year olds as well as 17-year-old final year NEWT students, oddball
outsiders and prefects alike. And the initial group of about 28
students expanded with time.

Makes me wonder though – did Dennis Creevy get to produce a
Patronus? Probably not. Did Angelina duel with Dennis? I suppose so.
Younger members could still learn defense even if they can't quite
perform the more complicated spells. Since Harry is teaching from the
point of view that Duels are *not* fair, I assume that Harry would
point out some nice simple spell that could still be effective
against more powerful opponents – Expelliarmus to counter Avada
Kedavra.

Very Impressed with Harry.
Errol.
