OOP and New to the group

I am new to the group and read many of the postings with great 
enthusiasum.  Here are some of my views and questions

When I found out that a main character would die is OoP (before 
reading the book) My first thought was Hagrid, Snape or Sirus. Of 
course when Hagrid did not show up the first day of school I knew 
that was too obvious.  I thought Sirius as his death would be such a 
blow to Harry, and it would further strengthen his resolve to fight 
Voldermort. As for Snape, I imagined quite wrongly that He would be 
killed while saving Harry's life against Voldermort.

Before this book, I felt that Sanpe was a reformed death eater, but I 
am not so sure. I think it is the fact that he legitimacy keeps being 
discussed through the book even if it's debated by Ron, Hermione, and 
Harry. On the subject of Snape, has anyone felt that his loathing of 
Harry is also becasue he was once in love with Lily, and that is why 
he has helped Harry although begrudgingly?

As far as who will inherit 12 Grimwauld, Bellatrix is back and surely 
she knows where it is located and how to access it as she was 
family.  Then there is Kreacher who went to Narcissa and gave her 
inforamtion about Sirius. 

AS for the Quidditch team captain next year, I would say Harry as he 
did not get prefect. 

Does anyone think Harry and Ginny will end up together?  This I know 
may be an old discussion but I have always thought that, red hair 
like his mothers...
And I think Neville is going to be much much stronger in the next 
books, and he will play a role in helping Harry overcome LV. That may 
be too obvious.

Anyway, does anyone know when the next book is coming out? (big grin)
