NAGGING QUESTIONS - PLEASE ANSWER!

This post doesn't really have spoilers, but won't make a lot of sense 
if you haven't read OoP

Here goes:

1. Someone please explain the prefect system. I know others have 
posted on this, but I haven't found a satisfactory answer. I get the 
impression that Ron and Hermione were the only prefects in 
Gryffindor, but what about the prefects in the sixth and seventh 
years? Were there any?

2. Barty Crouch Jr. is never mentioned in the book. Any idea what 
happened to him?

3. In book one the first years had flying lessons with Madame Hooch. 
But after Harry catches Neville's Rememberall, Flying lessons are 
never mentioned again, in any of the books. So, do only first years 
take flying lessons?

4. In the pensieve, Snape takes his exam paper with him after the 
exam has ended and continues working on it. Hermione does the 
samething in the present. Why do they still have their exam papers 
when everybody else handed them in?

5. Where did Sirius get his wand? Where the the escaped Death Eaters 
get their wands?

6.Who is the house head of Ravenclaw. I know McGonagall is 
Gryffindor; Sprout is Hufflepuff; and Snape is Slythrin. But who is 
Ravenclaw's?

If anyone can answer any of the above questions, I will be very 
greatful.
