I'm not going to argue the size of Hogwarts, since there's quite a 
bit of conflicting evidence (most recently the 30 students in DADA in 
OOP, when it's traditionally been a Gryff only class).  However, your 
numbers above are slightly wrong.  If 1/4 the crowd is 200 people, 
then 3/4 of the crowd would be 600, not 750.  That gives a total of 
800.  But I really don't think we're ever going to make *all* the 
number references agree.
