Hiya (Been lurking for some time, overwhelmed by amount of brilliant
theories) Before I thought it would be Hagrid, a Weasley or Lupin. I
thought of Sirius for a moment then passed over him. "Nah" I
thought "She wouldn't kill Sirius!" But from really early on I
guessed it would be him, even though I thought he'd end up doing
something reckless and getting himself in trouble, not the easily-
prevented-DAMN-it-Dumbledore death. It was a sad death made even more
sad by Sirius' previous quality(or lack of) of life.
I think JKR made a good move in telling everyone there would be a
death, because there were so many false alarms. Let's see...Ron,
Arthur, Hermione, Ron again, just off the top of my head... Was
anyone else terrified for Harry at the beginning of the book? "No
Harry, don't investigate the suspicious noises! The death eaters will
get you!" I don't remember ever being as tense reading books than I
have with HP!
Vik-very annoyed with mum, who is going with her school to see JKR at
the Albert Hall while I'm in exams. I shouldn't pray for the little
children to be struck down with illness, but...
