I love the idea of Harry having (something)-magus potential.  But 
since he was able to grow back the hair without benefit of wand or 
incantation (or even knowledge that he's a wizard), shouldn't he have 
been able, also without wand or incantation, hide or change the scar 
that gets him stared at so much?
