I was reading through this list and I mean I was struck by the lack of mention to one of my favorite aspects of Order of the Pheonix which is the power the youth takes in the book. We see that there is a huge change in the students listening to the teachers/parents and obviously the ministry to the children taking responsibilities for their own future.

What I Think was most amazing is that we see in the fifth year of Gryffindor that these students are willing to stand up to the teachers and to try their best to make changes in the wizarding world.

The students are no longer accepting the mere fact that Hogwarts is a safe place and within its walls they can not be harmed. They are learning to defend themselves, they know that if the adults can not help them defeat Voldemort and save their lives then they will have to be the ones who do it.

I think this is an important part of this book because we are seeing the power pass to the next generation. The power to preserve the wizarding world is now in the hands of the children. I think that is an amazing aspect of the book and one that is truly refreshing. In the gloom and horrors of the book we see that the young children are working hard to make positive contributions to society.

Dumbledore's Army is the best part of the book. Also, it is very interesting in that all of the students are beginning to show very clear signs of teenage rebellion (even Hermione).
