Did anyone else feel let down by OOP?

Me:

I, too, really enjoyed Neville.  (See earlier post.) I'm very 
curious what we will see from him in future.  Is there a lot more to 
him than we know?  What significance does his part of the prophecy 
have?  But anyway,  I feel slightly disappointed, as well. I wonder 
if this is because of the huge buildup for the book, but I also 
think it is because i want answers, not more questions.  I was under 
the impression (misguided, perhaps?) that we were going to learn so 
much more about Harry's parents than we did.  I also thought we'd 
see someone do magic unexpectedly.  THis thing with Lily and James 
really has me bothered.  Basically, we learned very little, aside 
from James was a jerk at fifteen.  I want more than LIly's blood 
being what protected Harry from her love.  There has to be more to 
it than that, right?
