Unfortunately she also said that Susan Bones' grandparents were killed by 
Voldemort and in OotP it turned out to be uncles, aunts and cousins. Maybe JKR 
decided that she prefered James to be a seeker. Of course it could be that he 
was just playing with a snitch to impress the girls.  .I'd imagine it would be 
harder to 
do tricks with a quaffle. <g>
