I don't know that we can have a happy ending at the end of the 
series. It seems a little too pat. (although I know people who 
believe JKR would be in "mortal peril" for killing Harry off).

I do think love is the key. If LV was just about done in by Lily 
sacrificing herself for Harry, what would happen if Harry 
sacrifices himself for someone else?

But then again, this is a "children's" series. Can the hero die?
