   Actually, I was thinking along the same lines. It seemed to me in this book that Snape had a lesser role in it than all of the other books. During my first read I was feeling a bit "where is Snape?" and that is weird because Snape had some meaningful parts in the book and I just don't like Snape. 

  Anyway, off topic. But I just think that Snape didn't fit into the writing...there *were* nore important things going on, and mentioning Snape was probably at the bottom of her list.
