the Squibbiness, likes the Muggle Life (much like the children of 
immigrants like to embrace the new country and discard the old ways) 
and wants nothing more than to be The Uber-Muggle.

Then along comes Lily, and she's actually a witch. Mr. & Mrs. Evans 
are overjoyed and consider Lily the "perfect" one, whereas Petunia, 
the one who dreams of Muggle Perfection sees Lily, the one who is a 
constant reminder of a world Petunia would love to forget, as a 
freak.

What is was wondering, when read the OOTP, was in the first chapter when
Harry keeps on getting the Owl's from the MOM, re his suspension..., Uncle
Veron, keeps on complaining. some thing else came to mind. Every year the
Dursley's send Harry a Christmas gift. I used to wonder you bother sending
him 50pence, a tooth pick or even a single tissue before. Now I am wondering
how they sent it to him, if not by an Owl. What about when Hermione, asks
Harry if she could borrow Hedwig to send an owl to her parents about her
becoming a prefect. so does that mean that muggles with children of magical
powers need to have owl's to communicate with their children???

Hey now, that's a low blow.  Not all Slytherins are Death Eaters.  It's 
statistically impossible for every single person who was in that house to be

completely and totally evil.  Honestly, I don't think all the Slyths would
make good 
DE's.  I'm not sure how to put this without it sounding awful...how about: 
just because someone believes purebloods are better doesn't necessarily mean

they want to destory them all?

Now me......
Some time back we had this huge discussion, as to which house the marauders
belonged to. The first thing I noticed about the ancient house of black in
the serpent on the door knocker. Then when we looked at the Black family
tree, we saw more pure blood .... people, even the Malfoy's Which leads me
to believe that all the four of them belong to different groups.
James - Gryffindor
Sirus - Slytherin
Lupin - Ravenclaw
I really don't know where to place peter, but I guess he will have to go to
Hufflpuff.


I do not know if this has been brought up after the OOTP. But these 2 things
really stood out when I was reading.

Bharathi (who can't wait to go home to continue her rereading of OOTP)
