First, thanks very much to Grey Wolf and the Admin Team for posting
the OOP FAQs. It was helpful to those of us who can barely keep up
with reading the subject headings, much less all the posts.
I just wanted to add something to the above. It seems to me that we
have been taking it as a given that a wizard will "never get such
good results with another wizard's wand" but I think we have to
consider the source of this information -- the guy whose business it
is to sell wands! The wizard world's economy is a capitalist one,
and as such, all merchandising claims and advertising should be taken
with a grain or two of salt. Of course *Ollivander* says everyone
needs their own wand -- but until I hear it from someone else, I'm
not convinced, and I'll be purchasing my wands and the junk shop.
