Maybe there won't be a Good!Slyth... As much as I don't want to admit it, 
there's a good chance that JRK will keep all the Slyths bad (see her Royal Albert 
Hall Interview and "the keep an eye on Snape, I don't want too many people to 
like him because of what happens later" stuff).  Maybe they're the balance.  
In order for there to be good, there has to be evil to counteract it.  
Slytherin House could be the balance of Hogwarts.  They could all be evil, nasty, 
slimy, little gits.  They could be what makes heroes like HRH come to the light.  
They could be all the facets of our personalities that we don't want to come 
to light.  Or not.
