Oops. A couple of things to add to my recent post:

I found the relevant sections in the book (finally) - his name is
Rodolphus, and he isn't mentioned regarding the Azkaban breakout. We learn
his name from the Black family tree. And he IS mentioned one more time -
Lucius refers to him by name in the final battle at the ministry. So,
please note those two minor corrections to my other post. I think the rest
of my comments still stand, though. :-)
