A point of correction:

Dennis Creevy is a third year student. He is two years behind
Harry. He made his first appearance in PoA. Otherwise it would have
been noted in a Sorting Ceremony--which Harry did not attend in that
book. The Flint here is not JKR's, but the reader's for forgetting
about Dennis in PoA.
And we have no evidence that Ginny even knows about the tunnels.
