I thought the same thing, but someone commented it's Petunia's blood 
protecting Harry, not Harry's blood. I still don't get it though - 
but I haven't had a chance to reread DumbleD's explanation yet.

What I am still wondering about is the glint of triumph in DD's eyes 
in GoF; still doesn't make much sense if DD did tell harry 
everything. Of course, there was a lengthy discussion about 
Dumbledore *not* having told Harry everything, which I completely 
missed, so chances are it already came up in there...
