I was glad to see someone else noticed this.  IMO, Harry's 
greatest "power"- the one that is completely incomprehensible to 
Voldemort- is Harry's love, in other words, his humanity.  IMO, when 
faced with this example of love demonstrated by Harry's desire to see 
Sirius again- Voldemort let him go.  I am convinced that it is 
Harry's humanity that will save him in the end as well.
