It's so hard to tell. She also might just be trying to keep some suspense 
going on. It wouldn't make much sense for her to confirm that he does live 
after all, would it? What reason would people have to keep reading? Just 
because she wants us to think it's possible that Harry will die doesn't 
mean that he necessarily will. She just doesn't want to give anything away. 
I also think she likes to torture her readers a bit. ;)

Well, he was possessed by Voldemort at the time, and Voldemort was trying 
to get DD to kill Harry in the hopes that it would kill him as well. That 
was the whole logic behind the possession. I don't think we can interpret 
something Harry says under the influence of possession as a true desire. 
But I definitely think it's possible that he might die a heroic death, 
fighting Voldemort. I think he will defeat Voldemort, but he might die 
doing it. I can't discount that possibility.
