I think that it's the same as Harry' wand, a lot happened between Harry and 
Hermy leaving and the others catching them in the forest - get rid of Draco and 
co, get wands back, explain whys and hows, filling in blanks... 

And Luna saying "but no, he's not a murderer, he's (insert singer's name 
which I don't recall)!!!!" ;)
