Ooh - nice notice, Debbie! It does sound a bit dodgy. But it *could* be
explained as McGonagall saying no one had been taken on to *train* as an
auror in the last three years. Since it seems to be a pretty intense career
path to take, Tonks might well have been "taken on" as an intern or
apprentice or student or whatever three or more years ago, and only
finished her training and become an "official" auror the year before.
