Me:

I don't think that Harry will feel justified once he thinks about 
this; however, perhaps he may.....  My dad served in Vietnam and he 
came back with the attitude that death was a natural part of war, and 
the wizarding wolrd is most definitely at war.  "You sometimes have 
to do horrible things to keep from dying".  That said I don't agree 
with what Harry did; however, I do not think that he is becoming 
evil.  I think that he snaped under the weight of loosing the last 
family that he has (not counting the Dursleys that is) and was 
attempting to deal out a little well deserved capital punishment.  (I 
don't want to discuss capital punishment on the site.)  It is 
interesting to note that Bellatrix tells Harry that "righteous anger" 
is not sufficient to make 'crucio' work.  Therefore I submit, IMHO, 
that Harry was acting with a clear concious although not a clean mind.
