I left her out deliberately, because I don't think she's playing an 
archetypal feminine role in Harry's life - I think she's too close to 
him to do so.  Remember, the only real interaction he's had with her 
as a girl rather than a friend is the Yule Ball.

True, of course, but except for the relationship counseling about 
Cho, she doesn't do femmy things for or about Harry.

To go back to my Tarot analogy, while she occasionally plays the role 
of Strength (which is a feminine card), for the most part she, Ron, 
and Harry all play the part of the Magician in the stories, IMHO. 
(Yes, I know that all the H/H Shippers will howl at that, but I'm 
calling it like I see it.)

True, but once again, that's not a very archetypically feminine role. 
I don't think she's going to be one of the people he can do 
mother-searching in, although I do expect she'll be quite helpful as 
he does his searching.
