Did Harry even think about it?  He just saw his Godfather die, of course he 
is angry.  But of course if he really wanted it to work, it would of worked 
properly.  All it seems to me is that Harry said a word that he knew would cause 
pain, but it didnt work, because he only said the word.  Lestranges then told 
him how to do it, but I dont think that matters.  I dont think he will ever 
use it properly, maybe on LV in book 7.  But he has a lot of anger to throw at 
that guy.  A LOT.
If it the spell had worked properly, - then I would be disturbed.
