OOP is different from all the previous books, it's stuffed with clues.
JK said in the Albert Hall event that she has included many more in
this book because she didn't want people accusing her of hiding vital
information that is important later. Something Agatha Christie does in
her books and when I figured this out I stopped reading her work.

She has also said that "I would be pretty miffed after thirteen or
fourteen years of writing the books if someone just came along and
said 'I think this will happen in book seven'." and "There is one
thing that if anyone guessed I would be really annoyed as it is kind
of the heart of it all." (See below for context.)

Does anyone not post an idea because of this? Are people worried that
not only might it spoil it for the readers but, more seriously, that
it might negatively affect JK? Given there are over 8000 members of
this site might not the collective activity of sharing ideas increase
the likelihood that the discussion will result in a pretty good chance
of getting close to that "one thing"?

This is a modern dilemma, no writer or reader has ever really faced
this before. I'd like to know what other people think?

Context of quote above.

Interview for Newsnight (BBC)

Interviewer asked questions about what happened next and JK said:
"I don't really want to say as it will ruin all the fan sites. They
have such fun with their theories ... and it is fun, it is fun. And
some of them even get quite close. No-one has ever - I have gone and
looked at some of it and no-one's ever ... There is one thing that if
anyone guessed I would be really annoyed as it is kind of the heart of
it all. And it kind of explains everything and no-one's quite got
there but a couple of people have skirted it. So you know, I would be
pretty miffed after thirteen or fourteen years of writing the books if
someone just came along and said I think this will happen in book
seven. Because it is too late, I couldn't divert now, everything has
been building up to it, and I've laid all my clues."
