Now I am confused, can they actually 'see' the Dementors or is it
only something that they can sense and feel? I thought from what Mrs
Figg said at Harry's Hearing that her description of the Dementors
was basically something she had seen in a book or heard from another
wizard, but there was no question that she could 'feel' their
effects, just a side question.

The only cat that seems to get good press is Crookshanks and of
course he is with Hermonie, a witch, rather then a Squib but Mr.
Tibbs did run right away to warn Mrs. Figg of Mugundus's disapperance
so I guess some of them get good press, sort of balanced actually I
thought, two that are good, Crookshanks and Mr. Tibs, two that are
given bad press, Miss Norris and the kittens. Yet even the kittens
helped Harry, one of them had blue eyes like Moody that reminded
Harry not to drink the tea, so perhaps they are not given as bad
press as it seems. The only one that seems truly bad is the one that
deals with Filch who is mean and nasty himself, but that is just my
thought, that perhaps the press for cats was not as bad as it first
seems.
