Yes I'm a lurker who hasn't felt the need to add her 2
knuts b/c well everyone's opinions are expressed so
well on this ML what can I possibly add.

1st. Yep I'm a silly H/Hr shipper. So I do have to
point out that Hermione has also kissed Harry on the
cheek at the end of GOF. a small point. I don't know
if the books will ever lead to my ship but I'm not
terribly worried about it either that really is the
point of shipping anyway isn't it?
(someone pointed out how she kissed Ron on the cheek
for luck...) realizing that Ron is still jealous over
Krum...it can definately still be a R/Hr ending.

2nd. I loved this book. It is perhaps my favorite of
the series now tied with POA. I loved Angry!Harry
because he is so believable as a teenager. I've known
many people that had rough unfair home lives and I
think they react quite like Harry does he feels
justified even vindicated in his anger by the actions
of others around him. I think his frustration at some
points is quite understandable or at least
sympathetic. He has not really dealt with the death
of Cedric or any of the events at the end of GOF fire
at the beginning of the book. He is waiting for
Voldemort to have arisen and instead finds himself as
a sort of butt of the jokes of the media. He has no
support while living at the Dursleys (that he can see
at the beginning at least). So dealing with the
trauma of the past school year and the emotional and
somewhat physical abuse of his family puts an
incredible burden on Harry.

Do Ron & Hermione deserve his wroth..nope..but they
are his sounding boards and therefore will always
receive the brunt of his emotions.

As far the revealing of James' cruelty. I was
somewhat surprised but then again in POA I remember
being quite mad at the Marauders for their treatement
of Snape then too. James in the end could have
exerted some control over himself and Sirius in that
situation. Yes he is shallow and perhaps we will
never know if it was just Lily that changed him or
something else. All that we can know is that we can't
judge James overrall by any one memory. Not the
soft-focused memory of all his teachers and friends
nor the harsh bitter memory of Snape. Taken out of
context from a whole is it ever really possible for
Harry to get a complete and accurate picture of what
his parents were like and would have been like for
him?

Will stop now before I get ahead of myself?

Coming out of Lurkdom with too many strong-willed
opinions perhaps!
