I think you are on to something here. The Descent Motif runs pretty 
thick in epic literature and it'd be fitting for HP to go through 
the veil to the underworld--TECHNICALLY dying--and then coming back 
(maybe after some sort of struggle) which means he has technically 
resurrected. Whether this will take on aspects of Christian theology 
or Greco-Roman mythology...or a mish-mash of the two, I cannot begin 
to speculate.
