True, of course... But messing up on whether someone was Head Boy or 
not is quite a big thing. Especially since JKR knows that those leads 
are all we have. I can believe Hagrid messing up dates, numbers, even 
events. But calling James a Head Boy when he wasn't seems like 
something beyond unreliability. It is, of course, possible that 
Hagrid wanted to boast Harry's parents to him, but I don't see him 
doing that with a fact that's so easy to check and disprove.
