I've asked that question, too (not so eloquent though), in post 64546
I think and got some answers later (don't recall the numbers), but
they included that knowledge is power. While DD knows there's not
much new in the second half, Voldy seems to think it's very important
and it could have been a clue about how to kill Harry, couldn't it?
Second point, the conclusion from the prophecy is, that DD can't kill
Voldy and DD is "the only wizard Voldy has ever been afraid of".
Loads of people only feel safe, 'cause DD is around (Harry,
Hermione...etc.). Imagine what would happen, if Voldy knew that DD
isn't a danger to him in terms that he can't AK him, fight him, but
not kill him. That would make ickle Voldykins reckless wouldn't it?
