Agreed. Often constant bickering means that you'd sooner punch someone in
the face than kiss them. But it's important to remember that Hermione and
Ron *aren't* adults. They're 15. And the way 15 year olds deal with
"more than friends" feelings isn't the same as adults -- at 15 I would
likely have constantly argued with a boy I liked, if I had talked to him
at all.

I don't think that there is much that can really be objectively promoted
as what *absolutely will* happen. I have *opinions* on what, the many
things canon has implied *may* happen, I would *like* to happen and could
make arguements for those pairings, but wouldn't claim to be able to make
an *objective* arguement on the matter because there just isn't anything
that solid in the books yet.

I agree with the poster that pointed out how obessed our society is with
sex and how society thinks male/female relationships cannot be *just*
friendships. I think this is what Jo is commenting on more than anything
else, as we the readers have a much clearer idea of what goes on between
Harry and Hermione than the characters who always bring this up --
generally new characters who really don't know anything about what Harry
and Hermione do together or talk about.

Well, Luna is more of a possiblity for *Ron* than *Harry* (as I have heard
mentioned). I mean, Harry has no real respect for her. He obviously
regards her as a nutter. And *Luna* never acts interested in Harry. Ron
on the other hand... She is clearly partial to Ron. Unforunately for
her, Ron thinks she's an even bigger nutter than Harry.

And *Ginny* and *Neville*???? Even if he has developed a *lot* as a
character (and make no mistake, I adore Neville and mean him no insult)
but despite his new found courage, he is still way to meek and timid of a
person for Ginny, or at least Ginny as we now know her. I think she's way
too much like Fred and George for Neville. I think Ginny would stomp all
over Neville to be honest and that he doesn't need that. It would just be
even more damaging for the poor boy.

I read a really intersting comment on the chess game on the Hogwarts
Express at the end and Harry and Ginny on The Leaky Cauldron comments
section. If I find it again, I'll post it on here.
