Now me (Wendy):

Mr. Lestrange is present at the battle at the Ministry - he is the
Rodolphus that Lucius addresses on page 695 (UK edition). We learn that his
name is Rodolphus from Sirius' family tree. However, I too noticed that he
plays nowhere near as big a part in all this as his wife, which led me to
speculate that perhaps he will be another Death Eater who leaves Voldemort
and turns back to the "good side" (ala Snape). Darrin posed the theory that
one of the Death Eaters will do this (and that Snape's mission with the
Order is to help this person return), and my money is on Rodolphus
Lestrange being the one. My reasoning? His wife is a lunatic and fanatical
Death Eater who is on "nickname" terms with Voldemort (perhaps there's
something more going on there ;-) plus he's just spent 14 or so years in
Azkaban and might not fancy going back.

:-)
