Harry completes his Defense against the Dark Arts O.W.L. Umbridge had
a slight smile on her face. Harry is so pleased with himself that he
chooses to ignore it. As far as I'm concerned, Umbridge CANNOT be
pleased with his performance, and thus must have thought of some way
of changing Harry's grade or some other equally dastardly deed. Any
ideas? If this has been discussed, please direct me.

What if some perverse side or part of her is glad with his
performance because she is a DE spy (how else would she have been
able to get Dementors to go to Harry's house behind Cornelius back
unless the Dementors were already on the Dark Lord's payroll?)
She may be pleasedd that Mr. Potter's skills are improving for
the "showdown" with the Dark Lord and that she witnessed his
performance so she can clue V. into any weaknesses and/or strengths.
