Maybe you hated it. Maybe you wished to cast an Unforgivable at JKR.
Fine. I'm a libertarian so, somehow, it manages to affect me not
whether you liked it, loathed it, loved it or were monumentally
indifferent to it. It really doesn't matter why, either. Maybe you
wished Mundungus Fletcher came into his heroic own. Maybe you wanted
Harry to go into group therapy. Maybe you wanted Snape and Sirius to
move to the wine country and open a quaint inn. You don't have to
(but are naturally free to do so) justify your dislike for OotP, you
don't have to be defensive about it. Similarly, you ought accept
those who loved it and those who thought it was pretty good.
After all, isn't tolerance for divergent opinions a key aspect of
the series?
Of course, within the bounds of civilized exchanges, we may disagree
on the particulars, and even debate them.
But as for me, I have better things to do (such as plow through
eleventy zillion posts) than figure out why someone may disagree
with me.
