Well, there its one thing to not agree with your family- and another
Thing to disown them.  Percy knows his mother- and knows how much distress
His actions would cause her.  And if I'm remembering correctly he didn't
Even show up when his dad was in the hospital after V's attack. To me this
Is more then pride and ambition- it a serious flaw in Percy's character that
will
Have to be addressed, I think, before he can be fully reconciled with the
Weasleys.
