-Just a thought, but the "You...Wait" lines were spoken directly
after James and Sirius were making fun of Snape for his DADA OWL.
The "You...Wait" could be implying something he wrote in the OWL. I
like your idea, but it seems weird the he would decide to join the
DE's BEFORE James and Sirius really humilated him.
