Yes, I definetly wondered if there was more to Luna. Although Luna's 
various death insights could be a bit of J.K.'s own wisdom, I don't 
think she's taken over Hermione. For one, in a interview a while 
back (I don't remember which...) J.K. said that if she could be an 
animagi she would be an otter....which was Hermione's patronus.
