Mugglenet has an interesting list of Oddities/Coincidences, and I found this one particularly interesting:

In Chapter 13 of every book, the seemingly-innocent culprit makes an appearance. 
  a.. Book 1: Snape threatens Quirrel, who we think is the good guy for resisting Snape. 
  b.. Book 2: We learn about T.M. Riddle, who we think is a good guy for catching Hagrid and stopping the attacks. 
  c.. Book 3: Wormtail fakes his death for the second time, and we think he's...er...a good rat. 
    Though this one actually begins at the end of Chapter 12, but continues into Chapter 13, close enough.
  a.. Book 4: Moody turns Malfoy into a ferret and we think he's just a cool guy.
I, for one, will be watching Chapter 13 of OotP very closely!
