I don't know if I can agree with this. My disagreement has nothing
to do with your logic, though :). It has more to do with JKR's
writing style. When there is something important, we always have
clues for several times before you see the importance (take Mrs. Figg
for example who still hasn't made her main appearance, but has been
mentioned in 2 books so far). I would expect that the room of
importance (and POSSIBLY the one on the cover) is one we've heard
about, and had described, but never realized the importance of. I
cannot remember ever having the Astronomy room described to me, so I
can't believe it is important. However, I will say this...if JKR
starts out book 5 by describing the room in detail, I will sit up and
take notice! :)
My vote is for the Gryffindor common room. Wouldn't it be cool to
find a room with all these magical properties and it's a place where
they've already spent so much time?
