Yes, because of what it implied (imo). Because she was
telling him that she knew what all this really was about,
and she even had a solution.

If she was really just mad at him and didn't like him beyonf
friendship, she could have neatly avoided future problems by
shutting him up with a different line.

Why even bring up future balls, if it was all about Ron
accusing her of betraying Harry and her being furius about
it?

It just makes no sense.
