Well, one thing we know of the members Albus Dumbledore, Sirius Black 
and Remus Lupin, one thing that sets them apart from all other 
wizards, is that they speak Voldemort's name without fear. That, and 
the fact that they choose to stand up against Voldemort even alone. 
To die rather than betray his friends (we know Sirius&Remus would) - 
that they'd fight anyway. It's safer included than excluded.
