       Actually I think "Tom Riddle" wasn't wanted. There seems to be no 
indication that anyone in the village believed Frank Brice when he said he'd 
seen a strange boy, Frank himself seems not to have commented on the boy 
having any resemblance to the Riddles, I see no indication that the village 
folk [or even the Riddles] knew of TMR's existence, and there was no known 
cause of death for the Riddles.
