Exactly, that really is my best point so far on why it's wrong to lump
all the cunning ones together into one house, BECAUSE they are
cunning. They make each other nasty. They are ideal recruits for
whichever bad things that are going on (just as Ravenclaws, by the
way, make each other into bookworms - what would you do if all your
house-mates were sitting in the library?)

I still thinking the house-system's all wrong, though acknowledging
it's good for the plot, as one of you stated. That's true.
