I always thought he was reminiscent of the skinny, little
bespectacled boys who had such a hard time in school,
usually. Being teased and bullied and made fun of.

The exact opposite of the "tall, dark (or blond) and
handsome" boys who got all the attention.

Harry has something going for him that makes people take
notice, though.
He's the boy who lived!

But I'm not sure if his looks would get him much attention,
otherwise.
