The obvious reference is the reception Harry and Ron
receives when they enter the Gryffindor tower after
crash-landing the car in CoS.
Also we have Dumbledore's word that Harry has 'a certain
disregard for rules' (this being among the 'qualities'
Salazar Slytherin appreciated in his hand-picked students).
And of course I only indicated that Harry is in that half
of the students that breaks the most rules, which shouldn't
really upset anyone (I would find it difficult to imagine
anyone seriously claiming that a majority of the students
are worse than Harry ;-)
He probably still has to work on it to catch up with the
Weasley twins - or his own father for that sake ;-)
