Actually, Avery returns to the Death Eater scene.  He's the Death 
Eater that Voldemort puts the imperious curse on.  it's on page 648 GoF, US 
paperback. V says--"Get up, Avery...Stand up.  You ask for forgiveness?
So Avery was actually there...although i've kinda wondered if it 
could be Fudge who has left forever.
